The Art Legacy of Julie Schoenecker

Julie Schoenecker, b. November 23, 1930 d. November 25, 2010, was an American artist well known for her printmaking and papermaking. In her early days as an artist she explored oil painting; studying in places such as Germany, New York State, and Washington D.C. While living in Hawaii, she developed her own personal style. Her use of color and nature is very captivating and connects the viewers back to the elements of nature that inspire her pieces.

Julie studied and taught art most of her life. In the last years of her life she lived on Whidbey Island, Washington with her husband Robert, where she had an art studio on their 4-acre homesite overlooking the Skagit Bay.

It is Julie’s family’s wish to reintroduce her art to the world so that others may appreciate her contribution for years to come. YEP Auction Service is pleased to present Julie Schoenecker’s personal art collection, both early and late pieces. A large collection of her work will be available; including original artworks, paintings, prints, hand-made paper, sketches, cards, supplies, and more.
